Here is a bit of New Orleans, I have lived here for 12 years.
Every year I find new places I completely overlooked.
One of New Orleans biggest urban gems is ExhibitBE, a five-story collaborative graffiti environment that resides in an unoccupied apartment complex at 3010 Sandra Drive in Algiers.
It is definitely a spot to check out by art lovers and explorers.
In 2016 I had the pleasure to visit Chicago with Rob Vernier (filmmaker based in New Orleans) for 2 months. I was amazed by its size and architecture and city life. Here is a little taste of what caught my attention in this marvelous city.
My cousin Hugo Meneses Leiza is one hell of a treveler. In 2016 he launched a project called PANGEA NOMADS which consists of traveling the world. His first trip has been a motorcycle trip from Miami, USA to Patagonia, Argentina. He did a quick stop in New Orleans, Louisiana and ask him to take portraits of him and show him a bit of the city.
In March 2017 he made it to Chile and his trip still continues.
You can check out his website and follow his trip on instagram. He has been posting really cool vlogs of his trip and his perspective of such an experience. Wish you well Hugo and keep on riding!

Countertake gave me the opportunity to join World War 2 Museum's promo to capture their ship PT-305 that has been preserved since combat and running which now is available for guests of the museum to board. Here are some of the stills I captured of the ship.
In 2016 I had the pleasure to photograph Trombone Shorty at House of Blues. His foundation focuses on passing down the cultural musical heritage to younger generations.
